Hidden in the nature around Fredericia, six large
wooden sculptures are waiting to be discovered.

ideal for anyone on two wheels.
Starting in Billund, head east; from
Vejle, ride west. Along the way, you’ll
昀椀nd plenty of places to stay overnight and enjoy small experiences.

Find me
Between Vejle and Jelling, the 16 km
Grejsdalsstien trail takes you through
scenic valleys.
A loop through Frederikshåb
Plantage (plantation) near the
Syvårssøerne (lakes) and across
Randbøl Hede (heath) is just 4.2 km
long and beautiful in every season.
Troldhedestien follows a former
railway track on a 14 km route from
Kolding into the countryside and
back again.
At Trelde Næs, the 5 km Næsset
Rundt trail leads from forest to
cliff and down to the coast, with
the chance to spot the rare orchid
Dactylorhiza majalis along the way.
Grene Sande near Billund offers
two marked routes of 3.5 and 9 km
through open heathland, with
wide skies, fresh air and a special
sense of calm. West of Billund, trails
continue through the conifer forests
of Gyttegård Plantage..
Vandvejen begins at Koldinghus
and winds along the Stenderup
Peninsula, with views of Kolding
Fjord and Lillebælt, before ending in
Sønder Bjert (national route 5).
Full speed in Fredericia:
Madsbyparken (a green area with
outdoor activities) features a 2.3 km
mountain bike trail and a technical
track for experienced riders.
For a ride through history,
Den Skæve Bane runs from
Grindsted to Brande along a
former railway line.
